ABOUT US
The Captree Princess & Pride Fleet has been taking fishermen out of Captree for decades. Starting with the Captree Princess in 1996 and adding the Captree Pride in 2011. Both boats are Coast Guard Inspected and approved with the latest safety, navigation and fish finding equipment. We limit fishing trips depending on the type of fishing to between 18 and 85 fishermen.
The Boats:
Captree Princess
The Captree Princess is a fast Aluminum Super Cruiser. The Captree Princess has been taking anglers both offshore and bay fishing for decades with many regulars, enjoying the beautiful boat and excellent crew. At the helm is Captain Joe DeVito. Captain Joe grew up fishing the Great South Bay and surrounding Ocean waters. He has been at the helm of offshore and inshore trips out of Captree since 2015 aboard the Laura Lee Fleet. In 2023 Captain Joe bought the boat from the Founder of Captree Princess- Captain Rob Andresen. The Captree Princess crew is lead by the boats 1st mate Tim Andresen. The Captree princess runs full & half-day trips, both ocean and Bay. In season she targets fluke, stripers, Seabass, porgies, Bonita, false albacore, Bluefish, Cod and blackfish.
The Captree Pride:
The Captree Pride is a fast super cruiser built for offshore fishing. She has a pristine bunk room with accommodations for 18 passengers. At the helm is a legend in the party boat industry- Captain Ken Higgins. Captain Ken has been running boats out of Captree for over 45 years. He has also ran boats out of Cape Cod, Freeport, and Miami fishing the Bahamas. For the last 12 years he has been running the Captree pride bringing anglers both in the Bay & Ocean targeting fluke, stripers, Seabass, porgies, Bonita, false albacore and blackfish. The Captree Pride crew is lead by its first mate Eric Klein.
